The Whitetable Question API enhances your interview process by offering two types of questions:
Standard Questions
Common for all applicants based on the job description (JD), interview round type, and focus area. These ensure fairness in candidate comparison and can be reused throughout multiple interview stages
Personalized Resume-Based Questions
Tailored specifically to each candidate’s resume, offering deeper insights into their skills and qualifications, while also aligned with the JD, interview round type, and focus area
Consistent Yet Tailored
Our two-pronged approach provides both fairness and individual insight. Every candidate receives a core set of standard questions , while personalized questions help uncover deeper insights about each candidate’s unique background. You have full control over the balance, deciding the mix of standard and personalized questions.

How It Works

The Whitetable Question API works through two main endpoints, providing flexibility and control over the interview process. Here’s how it works

Generate Standard Questions
The first API helps you generate a set of standardized questions based on the job description (JD), interview round type, and focus area.
This API generates a set of standard questions and returns a standardSetId. This ID will be used to retrieve the same set of questions in later requests for consistency across all applicants

Generate Personalized and Standard Questions
The second API combines the standard questions with personalized questions based on a candidate's resume. You provide the standardSetId from the first API, and the total number of questions you need.
This API returns the standard questions from the first API along with additional personalized questions based on the resume
For example, if the standard questions generated earlier included 10 questions, and you ask for 15 total, this API will return the 10 standard questions and generate 5 personalized questions, tailored to the candidate’s resume.
